Call for Tutorials The International Conference on High Performance Computing & Simulation (HPCS 2017) July 17 – 21, 2017 Genoa, Italy Proposal Submission Deadline: 10 March 2017 The 2017 International Conference on High Performance Computing & Simulation (HPCS 2017) is to address, explore and exchange information on the state-of-the-art in high performance and large scale computing systems, their use in modeling and simulation, their design, performance and use, and their impact. The 15th edition of the Conference will be held on July 17 - 21, 2017 in Genoa, Italy. As in every year, the Conference will feature a state-of-the-art set of tutorial presentations. The HPCS 2017 Organizing Committee invites proposals and ideas for tutorials to be held as part of the Conference. All tutorials will address timely, important, and relevant subject areas within high performance computing and simulation. Preference will be given to proposals at an introductory to medium high level, accessible to a wide audience. Typically, 2-4 hour tutorials are planned but others will be considered. Proposals will be evaluated by members of the Organizing Committee. If you are interested in presenting a tutorial at this conference or have an idea for a tutorial you would like to see offered please contact the Tutorials Co-Chairs. TOPICS INCLUDE (but are not limited to): All HPCS related topics. TUTORIAL PROPOSAL SUBMISSION A proposal to present a tutorial should contain the following information:
ACCEPTED PROPOSALS Proposers of accepted tutorials are given the opportunity to submit a tutorial paper. The content of a tutorial paper must be based on the material covered by the tutorial and must not exceed 10 pages. The required format for the camera-ready submission is posted on the Conference Web site. The author kit containing templates for the required style can be found at the Conference’s web site at http://hpcs2017.cisedu.info/. Submitted tutorial papers will be reviewed by the Tutorials Chairs and members of the Organizing Committee prior to publication. The conference organizers have the right to refuse publication of tutorial papers if, for example, the technical quality of the paper is insufficient or the content of the paper does not match the content of the tutorial. Tutorial papers will be published in the conference proceedings and hence will be disseminated through the Digital Library.
